This is a collection of my journey through Humanities, as well as through my personal life experiences and self-reflection during quarantine and my first-ever college semester. Much like the humanities is a vast collection of stories, cultures, and self expression, my portfolio is representative of a body of work, all collectively working together to portray what I believe are symptoms of our history. Who we are today both on an individual and cultural level tells a lot about where we came from and what we have overcome, and so “Symptoms of Our History” could not be a more relevant title given the conditions we have been living and working under for nearly a year. Thank you to all the professors who have encouraged me and broadened my mind this semester- and I hope you enjoy.
